Our Team | Can Sayar
Can Sayar is a graduate of METU Industrial Engineering and holds a Master’s degree in Economics from METU. He started his professional career at Delphi Automotive Systems-Istanbul plant in 1993. After 2 years of Delphi experience, he returned to Delphi Automotive Systems -Izmir plant as Logistics Manager in 1998 after his Master’s Degree and military service. During his 15 years of Delphi journey, he worked as Logistics Manager, Continuous Development (6 sigma) Delphi Turkey and Delphi Europe Logistics Coordinator, Delphi Izmir Logistics Manager again and finally Delphi Izmir Factory Manager for 7 years.
He led the Delphi Izmir plant to become a lean model factory, which ranked first globally in many KPIs, and to be named “Europe’s Benchmark Factory” in 2015. In his last 2 years at Delphi, he simultaneously assumed the role of Delphi Turkey Logistics Manager in addition to his current role.
In 2017, he joined Metalfrio/Klimasan AŞ, located in Manisa Organized Industrial Zone, as COO. He managed Production, Investments, Finance, IT, Quality, R&D, OHS, H&R functions. In addition to these duties, he also assumed the position of General Manager of Klimasan, a publicly traded company.
In 2019, he joined Mondi Corrugated Turkey as General Manager. For almost 5 years, he has been the General Manager of MCT Tire Box Production Plant, MCT Tire Paper Production Plant, MCT Kemalpaşa for about 1 year, MCT İnegöl Box Production for about 1 year and MCT Adana Natural Paper Recycling for about 2 years. During these assignments, he led the Sales, Production, Investments, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Finance and OHS processes of the relevant facilities.
As of August 2024, he left his position at Mondi and provides consultancy services on General Management and Organizational Development.
